Dr. Katie Phillips

Dr. Katie Phillips

Dr. Katie Phillips grew up in Reno, Nevada and then traveled to Oregon State University in Corvallis for her undergraduate degree. She graduated magna cum laude with a B.S. in Nutritional Science. She went on to receive her Doctorate of Optometry at Pacific University graduating with distinction and receiving the Donald A. Bybee Award for outstanding performance in the area of vision therapy.

While attending Pacific University, she was president of the Professional Programs Council, vice president of the Student Optometric Association, and a member of the Beta Sigma Kappa Honor Society. She is passionate about patient care and has expertise in the area of refractive surgery.

Dr. Phillips enjoys spending her spare time with her husband and three children. She loves the outdoors, especially hiking, running and skiing.

Dr. Ki’s bio

Dr. Brian Ki

Dr. Brian Ki is a Portland native. He graduated from University of Oregon and received his Doctor of Optometry from Pacific University. He completed his residency training at Eye Care Associates of Nevada with an emphasis in ocular disease and surgical co-management. While in Nevada, he developed an interest and gained expertise in dry eye management through the specialty dry eye clinic.

Upon moving back to Oregon, Dr. Ki worked as clinical director for several LASIK surgery centers in the Portland area. He also served as adjunct faculty at Pacific University and taught as an attending clinician. He is passionate about patient care and enjoys educating his patients and students. He then achieved Academy Fellowship from the American Academy of Optometry.

Outside of the clinic, Dr. Ki enjoys hiking, music, craft beer, and watching the Portland Trail Blazers.
